RESUMEN CORTO - SHORT SUMMARY

Agenesis of the gallbladder associated with congenital umbilico-biliary fistula was diagnosed in a 1-year-old French Bulldog using abdominal ultrasound and contrast study. The aberrant duct originated directly from the common bile duct and biliary tree to the umbilicus without biliary duct dilation.

Surgical approach throughout ligation and excision of the aberrant duct at its conection with the common bile duct lead to an uneventful recovery. This is the first case describing a combined biliary congenital malformation with gallbladder agenesis and umbilico-biliary fistulation.
