RESUMEN CORTO - SHORT SUMMARY
El presente trabajo de investigación, apoyándose en bibliografía, artículos y conocimiento sobre el tema, estudió verificar la capacidad de desarrollo del comportamiento de perros adultos no habituados a un entorno doméstico, mediante la realización de un programa de socialización ante la posible adopción de los animales. Para la realización de dicho programa, se emplearon dos test de evaluación, previamente y posteriormente a la realización de dicho programa de socialización, el cual, incluyó la realización de diversas actividades a las que podrían enfrentarse en su futura vida familiar. Tras la anotación y el análisis de los datos obrenitos durante la duración de la parte práctica del proyecto, se ha evidenciado una satisfactoria evolución de los perros, permitiéndonos conocer tanto las conductas que han cambiado drásticamente (reacción anti correa, aversión a escaleras, rechazo a ciertos juguetes), como aquellas que han sufrido una modificación notoria (reacción ante personas, reacción ante habitación extraña) y, por último, las que han permanecido invariables durante el proceso (reacción ante juguetes).
Sin duda, la base de este proyecto reside en la capacidad de habituación del perro, el cual, como ser social es indiscutiblemente capaz de modificar ciertas conductas como resultado de la influencia de su entorno.
