He got his DVM at the University of Zaragoza in 2004. After one year at the National Veterinary School at Maisons-Alfort (ENVA), he got an internship in general medicine and surgery and a specialised internship in surgery at the same school. He has stayed at numerous referral centres at the UK and USA. In september 2007, he started an European Residency in Surgery (European College of Veterinary Surgeons) for 3 years at the Centre Hospitalier Vétérinaire Frégis (Paris) under the supervision of Dr Bouvy, Ms, Diplomate ACVS/ECVS (Diplomate of the American & European College of Veterinary Surgeons). He is Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Surgeons (Dip. ECVS), European recognized specialist in small animal surgery. He is author of many national and international papers and presentations. His work is focused on the surgery of soft tissues, orthopaedics and neurosurgery, with special interest in minimally invasive surgery (arthroscopy, laparoscopy, thoracoscopy), oncological surgery and orthopaedics.
