Gerhard Oechtering

Gerhard Oechtering, DipECVAA, Veterinary Specialist in Otorhinolaryngology and Surgery, qualified from the the Free University of Berlin. Later he became senior lecturer in surgical intensive care and anesthesiology at the Justus Liebig University, Giessen. He serves as Professor and Head of the Department of Small Animals at the University of Leipzig since 1994. 2005 his department opened up a special ENT-Unit. His special interests are interventional ENT-Surgery, navigated surgery, laser surgery in the ENT and urological field and breeding-related ENT problems.
