Alfonso Moya Vázquez

He graduated in Veterinary Medicine (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona) in 2005. He got the AVEPA accreditation (exotic animal practice), and the General Practitioner Certificate in Exotic Animal Practice (European School of Veterinary Postgraduate Studies). He founded Hispalvet Veterinarios (Tomares, Sevilla, Spain) in 2011, his own private clinic with the main focus in exotic animal medicine and surgery. He is in charge of Hospital Veterinario Guadiamar (Sanlúcar La Mayor, Sevilla) exotic animal service. When he finished his studies, he took an internship in exotic animal medicine in Island Exotic Veterinary Care and Long Island Veterinary Specialists (New York). Alfonso is an active member of GMCAE (AVEPA’s Exotic Medicine and Surgery Group), and the Association of Exotic Mammal Veterinarians (AEMV). Alfonso has been a speaker at numerous conferences and courses. He is the author of several papers published in national and international journals.
