Rafael Laguens

Graduated from the University of Zaragoza, started his veterinary career as a rural practitioner, after 11 years he became Veterinary Public Health Officer. He worked in the design, advice and management of several Internet databases for registration of pets and horses. He served as member of the board of the General Council of Veterinary Colleges of Spain and as Councillor for Europe of the World Veterinary Association (WVA). Since 2015 until 2019 was President of the Federation of Veterinarians of Europe (FVE). Currently he works as consultant about to training, communication, technology and international affairs, he is the director of the new public health magazine 'Hygia', is the chairman of the Standing Committee for the organization of the WVA Congress and is member of the Board de Veterinary Continuous Education in Europe (VetCEE).
