Diseases caused by exaggerated breeding of small animals is probably one of the most challenging features in modern small animal practice. To understand the consequences of various breeding induced malformations – which are discussed in the second part of this talk – it is indispensable to understand structure and function of the oto-rhinologic system. This will be presented with reference to the clinically relevant CT and endoscopic landmarks.
