Feline aspergillosis is being increasingly recognised in cats, and occurs worldwide. The most common form of disease is fungal rhinosinusitis (FRS), which usually occurs in immunocompetent cats. Compared to dogs, cats are more susceptible to an invasive form of FRS, which spreads locally. The fungi that cause these infections are often multi-drug resistant. The use of antifungal drugs in cats, as well as cases of aspergillosis seen by the speaker, will be discussed.
