Pet owners have access to a range of information regarding all aspects of pet foods. Much of the information available is not reliable, which is problematic as it hinders the pet owner's ability to make rational choices for their pet's diet. Some of these myths will be discussed, and critical evaluation of information as well as how to obtain reliable and accurate resources about pet food will be provided.
