Placo-nodular dermatosis is an uncommon cutaneous problem in the cat and may be of an infectious nature, such as cryptococcosis, or of sterile inflammatory origin, such as lesions of the eosinophilic granuloma complex. In this talk we will discuss the differential diagnosis and the diagnostic approach of placo-nodular dermatitis in cats with special emphasis on fungal origin.
