Hepatic disease is a common clinical condition. Many of these cases are presented in early stages of the disease and it is important to achieve an early diagnosis because treatment in early stages can improve and prolong the life expectancy of these patients. This paper will discuss the most common liver diseases in both species and how to create a diagnostic plan for every patient.
