Mireia qualified in Veterinary Medicine at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) in 2005. Then, she completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the UAB. She went afterwards to UK, where she completed another internship at the Animal Health Trust and worked as general practitioner for some years. Se returned to Barcelona in 2010 to manage her specialisation in Internal Medicine, being resident at the Hospital Clínic Veterinari, UAB, for three years. Since then, Mireia has worked in different referral Hospitals. In 2016 she became European Specialist in Internal Medicine by the ECVIM. She is director of the Internal Medicine Service at the Hospital Veterinari Glòries, Barcelona, since then.
