DVM by the University of Lugo (USC), Spain, in 1991. Founding partner of Hospital Veterinario Abros (Ourense, Spain) in 1993, where he worked as Clinical Director until 2009, as Manager from then to 2018, and as Practice Manager since 2018. He has completed the management course Lince IV, MADCV II and Master-coach by the European Coaching Center and has gone to the annual congresses of IVEE, management sessions at national congresses and the latest meetings of the Study Groups of AVEPA and AGESVET as well as national symposia and fora. He completed his education on Team Management and Company Management with courses on communication skills, coaching, accounting, merchandising, marketing in veterinary centres, team management and applications of marketing through social networks. He’s been speaker at national congresses, including AVEPA-SEVC, IVEE, GTA, AMVAC, AGESVET, Vet School in Lugo, Management workshop from AVEPA, North-west Congress and the Anicura Abros Congress. He has published papers in national journals (Consulta, Argos, Centro Vet), online courses (ASIS, Technicians’ Management) and is co-responsible of the journal of the Study Group on Management of AVEPA since 2013, as well as co-author of the textbook ‘Gestión de Clínicas Veterinarias’. Founding member of the Group Optimus since 2003, member of the Study Group on Management of AVEPA since its creation, and of AGESVET. His main area of interest is Business management of Veterinary Centers, and has developed this role as Practice Manager of the Hospital Veterinario Anicura Abros and as External Consultant on Management for many veterinary centres.
