Chronic enteropathy is and CKD are common conditions in elderly cats, and when concurrent disease exists, it may provide a challenge for diagnosis and management of disease. At what point is weight loss attributed to CKD, or a concurrent condition such as chronic enteropathy? What is the effect of intestinal health on the kidney?
