This lecture will focus on the recognition of feline spinal cord syndromes, including how to assess cases and features of different neuroanatomical localisations. The many differential diagnoses will be discussed, with the emphasis on how to use aspects of signalment and history to refine the differential list. There will be a brief discussion of methods of investigating these cases, and when referral should be considered, finishing with some case examples.
