Graduated by the University of Zaragoza in Veterinary Medicine in 2000. Afterwards, he began a year of research at the Veterinary Faculty of Utrecht (The Netherlands). In 2002 he moved to the UK where he worked as a Small Animal Emergency Veterinarian for 3 years, before working in first opinion clinics across the country. In 2009 he completed a Master in Business Administration and Management at the Villanueva Study Center, associated with the Complutense University of Madrid. In 2015 he completed the Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice (CertAVP) from the University of Liverpool. He’s been dedicated to helping veterinarians to improve their business and to achieve a healthier work-life balance with his company, Assis Veterinary Business Advisor (www.assisvba.es), for 10 years. In addition to publishing the books Manual Práctico de Gestión de Centros Veterinarios ”(Multimedica, 2019) and Gestión de Centros Veterinarios (Servet 2011), he is the author of the blog (and now a book on Amazon) “Diario de un Veterinario Gestor and is the visible face of the veterinary management blog on its YouTube channel, Nachomerida77. Various collaborations with the Argos Magazine, Diario Veterinario and IM Veterinaria amongst others on Marketing and Management of veterinary centers. He has published numerous papers in Spanish and English, and speaker both in Spain and in South America. One of his most outstanding contribution is the development of a parameter to measure the impact of advertising actions of different veterinary centers on social networks or the adaptation of the values ​​of different economic KPIs for the centers to the reality of different Latin American countries. When he's not working, his hobbies include cycling, kitesurfing, and gardening.
