Undergraduate studies: Cornell University, degree in animal sciences Veterinary School: Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine Rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery: the Animal Medical Center in New York, NY Residency in emergency and critical care at Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine Finished in 2001, stayed on as part of the faculty. Now Associate professor, Head of the Emergency Service, Associate Medical Director of the small animal hospital, and Executive Secretary of the American College of Veterinary Emergency & Critical Care. Major interested: hypercoagulable states and thrombosis, anticoagulation, hematologic changes in trauma.
