Graduated in veterinary medicine from the Córdoba Faculty, he trained professionally for more than 12 years in the United Kingdom. He graduated in small animal surgery (orthopedics) from the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (UK) in 2003. In that same year he obtained recognition as a British Specialist in Orthopedics and Traumatology. He has authored and co-authored numerous publications and guides on small animal trauma and neurosurgery and is a regular national and international speaker. His main interests are the management of complex fractures, diagnosis and treatment of lameness, arthroscopy, joint prostheses and neurosurgery. He currently exercises his professional work at Anicura Bahía de Málaga Veterinary Reference.
