Tomàs Camps Morey

Tomàs Camps obtained his BVSc, MSc (Behavioural medicine in small animals in 2004 and Animal research in 2010) and his PhD (focused on individual differences in small animal behavioural problems) from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB). He is diplomate of the European College of Animal Welfare and Behavioural Medicine (ECAWBM). Since 2009 until 2017 he has been part of the Nutrition and Animal Welfare Service (SNIBA) of UAB, working as a researcher, professor, and clinical behaviourist. Currently, he has his own behavioural referral service (Etovets: animal welfare and behavioural medicine) in Mallorca (Spain). He is still collaborating with UAB regarding research programmes and teaching purposing. He is author of different national and international publications and regular speaker in national and international conferences. He is co-author of four books about behavioural medicine for veterinary practitioners. Currently, He is also the president of GrETCA (Spanish Group of Small Animal Behavioural Medicine of AVEPA - Spanish Associations of Veterinary Specialists in Small Animals).
