Multiligamentous injury of the stifle joint is a common pathology in cats but also is happening in dogs. These injuries can involve the collaterals as well as cruciate ligaments and menisci. To avoid failure after operation, some important things need to be considered. In this lecture we will discuss treatment of multi ligamentous injuries, differences in treatment between dogs and cats and expected prognosis. Additionally we will discuss common complications and how to avoid them.
