Antonio Crovace

Degree in Veterinary Medicine at the University of Bari in 1982. From 1983 he worked as a resercher in the Institute of Veterinary Surgery of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Bari. From 1992 Associate Professor of Veterinary Surgery. From June 2001 Full Professor of Veterinary Surgery. During his professional training he has working also in foreign scientific and experimental institutes: Newmarket (Great Britain), Davos (Swiss) and Munich (Germany). He cooperated with national and international group of research on Bone disease , Neurotrauma and Cell therapy for experimental and clinical application(Department of Orthopedics and Institute of Cancer of Genova, Slovak Techinical University, Jussenius Medical Faculty Martin, Department of Eperimental Pharmacology of Science Academy of Bratislava, University of Leipzig ).Coordinator of CNR Studies on Osteoinductive Materials and on bone grafts. Coordinator of Units of research on Cartilage graphts in the treatment of traumatic and degenerative articular lesions. Coordinator of Unit of research on Kidney sepsis . From 2007-2009 President of Italian Society of Veterinary Surgery. From 2012-2015 Vice President of Italian Society of Veterinary Science. From 2018 President of Federation of Veterinary Society . He has published 240 scientific papers on national and international reviews. Winner of five scientific awards. In the last 15 years he publish 90 paper and three international patents , with H-Index 24 and 1900 citations (SCOPUS).
