Lynette Cole

Dr. Cole is a Professor and Section Head of Dermatology and Otology at The Ohio State University, College of Veterinary Medicine, USA where she has one of the only integrated otology services to offer comprehensive diagnostics including video otoscopy, radiographic imaging (computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging) and brain-stem auditory evoked responsive testing. She is a graduate of the University of Tennessee where she received her DVM. She completed her Residency in Dermatology and obtained her Master of Science at The Ohio State University and is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Dermatology. Her publications include over 50 articles and book chapters and she has presented over 200 seminars nationally and internationally. She is involved in teaching and training of the veterinary students and dermatology residents. She is one of the pioneers in the use of video otoscopy for diagnosis and management of otic disease. Her research interests include infectious otitis externa and otitis media, Primary Secretory Otitis Media in the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and brain-stem auditory evoked response (BAER) testing.
