Dr. Michelle Oblak is a veterinary surgical oncologist and the Animal Health Partners Research Chair in Veterinary Medical Innovation at the Ontario Veterinary College. She is the Chair of the Research Committee of the Veterinary Society of Surgical Oncology and the co-Director of the Institute for Comparative Cancer Investigation at the University of Guelph. As a clinician scientist focused on veterinary clinical trials, her research program centres on innovation and incorporating novel techniques and technology with translational potential. She has a keen interest in sentinel lymph node mapping and its applications in veterinary medicine. She loves to travel and meet veterinarians from around the world and is especially passionate about teaching best practices in surgical oncology.
