Juan Carlos graduated with honours from Universidad Complutense de Madrid. He completed a rotating internship in Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona and after briefly working in general practice he moved to Scotland, where he completed first an Oncology Internship, then an Oncology Residency, and finally a Radiation Oncology residency. In 2018 he obtained the diplomat status in Medical Oncology and in 2020 in Radiation Oncology. Juan Carlos works as a Senior Lecturer in Small Animal Oncology at the University of Edinburgh and is head of the Oncology Service of the Hospital Veterinario Puchol. He is author y coauthor of multiple scientific articles, and is a frequent speaker at both national and international conferences, and at postgraduate courses of Veterinary Oncology.
