Diseases of the urinary tract are common. This lecture will provide an overview of diagnostic imaging of the urinary tract. Besides ultrasonography, contrast radiography and CT will be discussed. The benefits and limits of each imaging modality will be demonstrated by using many cases. You will be given an overview of ultrasonographic appearance of renal disease, learn why and how to perform a positive urethro-cystogram, and you will hear how to diagnose ectopic ureters.
