Jordi qualified in Veterinary Medicine at the University Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) in 2008.
After a short period as general practitioner, he completed an internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at the Animal Health Trust, Newmarket (UK) in 2008-2009.
Then, he completed a residency in Internal Medicine at the Animal Health Trust, Newmarket (UK) in 2010-2013, where he became member of the Internal Medicine Team in 2014-2015. He joined Ars Veterinaria, Barcelona, in 2015.
Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (Small Animal Internal Medicine) since 2014 and the European College of Veterinary Internal Medicine – Companion Animals (Internal Medicine) since 2017.
Jordi is Supervisor of nuclear facilities since 2017.
He has completed several stays in various University Hospitals in the United Kingdom and the United States.
His areas of research and interest are gastrointestinal diseases and endocrinology.
He is the author and co-author of publications in international veterinary scientific journals, as well as papers and posters at international and national conferences.
In his free time, Jordi likes going to the mountains, playing sports and enjoying music and gastronomy.
