Currently, the Assistant Director of Academic Advising, Veterinary Nursing Program, Purdue University, College of Veterinary Medicine in West Lafayette Indiana USA. She has worked in the veterinary profession for almost 40 years. She has worked as a veterinary technician, instructor and mentor to many in the profession. She is passionate about advocating for veterinary technicians/nurses and the entire team. Degrees: AAS in Veterinary Technology from National College, a BSBA from Indiana Wesleyan University, and an MS in Educational Technology at Purdue University, She is Immediate Past-president of the NAVC, an active member of NAVTA and currently is on NAVTA's DEI committee. She has been an active leader in the Indiana Veterinary Technicians Association and previously served as president. In addition, she’s an active member of the Association of Veterinary Technician Educators .
