Insulinomas are insulin-secreting tumours of pancreatic beta cells. Clinical signs in animals with insulinoma are caused by the functional effects of excess insulin secretion from neoplastic beta cells, with resultant hypoglycaemia. This lectures takes you through clinical presentation, diagnosis and the medical and surgical management of insulinomas.
