Surgical treatment of BOAS has been known for decades and research on this condition has been accelerating in the last 15 years. Nonetheless some misconceptions remain common and lead to potential mistakes during the communication with the owners of brachycephalic dogs. In this lecture we will discuss 5 common myths regarding treatment of dogs with BOAS.
